PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIP

About Professional Membership

Chartered to encourage and facilitate professionalism in the transportation logistics services industry, the NCBFAA Educational Institute (NEI) is offering importers and exporters Professional Membership in one of America's oldest and most respected international trade organizations. For more than a century, the NEI's parent organization, the National Customs Brokers and Freight Forwarders of America, Inc. (NCBFAA), has represented the commercial interests of  members who include Customs brokers, freight forwarders and ocean transportation intermediaries as well as members representing carriers, sureties, communications, ports, and other specialized services.

Until now, membership in this renowned institution has been limited to corporations, partnerships, and sole owner companies; individuals were not eligible to belong. With the launch of NEI's category of Professional Membership, the scope of participation by colleagues from the international trade arena has been expanded.

IMPORTANT: Professional membership accords you the benefit of taking the courses, webinars and NEI events such as G.TEC at the reduced member rate.*

*Annual membership renewal fees are separate from designation renewal fees for CCS, MCS, CES, or MES. Professional membership does not affect any of these designations.
