Becnel, Jr., Gerald T.

Gerald Becnel, Jr., is President of J.W. Allen & Company, Inc. located in Kenner, LA.  With more than 18 years of experience in international logistics, Mr. Becnel’s role is to guide the company’s development and implementation of transportation solutions tailored to meet individual needs.  

Recognized for self-motivation and strong determination, Mr. Becnel began his career overseeing export break-bulk operations but quickly expanded his focus to include import related responsibilities earning his Customs Broker’s License in July 2004.

Committed to industry involvement, Mr. Becnel serves as President of the International Freight Forwarders and Customs Brokers Association of New Orleans (IFFCBANO) and Chairman of the NCBFAA’s 2013 Government Affairs Conference.     

Mr. Becnel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from the University of New Orleans.
