Area 1 Amy Slavko

Amy Slavko is a licensed Customs Broker and President of D.J. Whelan & Co. in Detroit, MI. She is a Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) with the NCBFAA. Amy is currently Chairman of the Board of the Detroit Customs Brokers & Forwarders Association (DCBFA) and is Secretary of the Northern Border Customs Brokers Association (NBCBA). In 1992, Amy began her career when she joined the family business started by her father in 1968. She is a graduate of the University of Michigan-Dearborn and earned her Customs Broker License in 2002.

Amy resides in Harrison Township, MI, with her husband, Jeff, and their two children, Andrew and Reagan.
