Edward D. Greenberg

        Ed Greenberg is a partner with the Washington, D.C. law firm of GKG Law, P.C. concentrating on transportation law and international trade. He is also NCBFAA General Counsel and represents numerous ocean freight forwarders, NVOCCs, shippers associations and shippers.

         Before joining GKG Law, he was Chief Counsel at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission in the proceeding concerning the construction and operation of the Trans-Alaska Pipeline. Before that Mr. Greenberg was Regional Counsel for the Interstate Commerce Commission and generally in charge of enforcement and litigation pertaining to motor carriers, water carriers and freight forwarders. He has written extensively in various legal and trade periodicals on forwarding issues and is past President of the Washington, D.C. Chapter of the Association of Transportation Practitioners.

         Mr. Greenberg is also a member of a number of professional associations, including the Maritime Lawyers Association, the Maritime Administrative Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Association of Transportation Law Professionals and the Energy Bar Association.
