Jennifer Diaz

        Jennifer Diaz is a Board Certified International Attorney who is considered an expert in international law by the Florida Bar. She joins an elite group of Board Certified International attorneys in Florida. She is the founder of Diaz Trade Law, P.A. assisting clients with issues relating to the import and export of merchandise to and from the United States.

        Ms. Diaz is experienced working with the many Federal agencies including, but not limited to the:

  • U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA)
    • Provide FDA registration and U.S. agent services
    • Assist clients with FDA label compliance for foods, cosmetics, dietary supplements, medical devices and OTC drug products
    • Successfully Petition FDA to remove food, cosmetic and medical device importers from FDA Import Alert List
    • Mitigating FDA fines, penalties, and avoid destruction of merchandise if applicable
    • Navigate Notices of FDA Action and work to have FDA release merchandise after an FDA hold
    • Develop companies’ FDA compliance procedures and SOP manuals
  • U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP)
    • Submit Binding Ruling Requests to CBP
    • Respond to CBP's Request for Information (CF 28) and Notices of Action (CF 29)
    • File Protests & Prior Disclosures
    • File Petitions for Seizures and/or Mitigation of Fines and Penalties
    • Submit applications for the Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) program.
