Tarpey, Dominique


Dominique Tarpey is the Section Chief for TSA’s Global Supply Chain and Canine Initiatives within the Office of Global Strategies. Her team handles TSA’s portfolio of bilateral mutual recognition agreements, the Air Cargo Advance Screening (ACAS) program, and international industry and stakeholder engagement.   Ms. Tarpey joined the Transportation Security Administration in fall 2009 after having worked with American President Lines, Ltd’s (APL) Government Trade Office and Deloitte Consulting LLP. 


Ms. Tarpey has held key roles in TSA including the Office of Security Policy and Industry Engagement (OSPIE), the Office of Security Operations (OSO), and the Office of Global Strategies (OGS).  She has over twelve years of expertise in international supply chain security, compliance, and TSA screening programs, but also significant experience in program and project management, international program implementation, and policy and training development. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations from Syracuse University and a Master’s Degree in Global Finance, Trade, and Economic Integration from the University of Denver, Korbel School of International Studies.  She also holds a Master’s Degree in Homeland Security from the Naval Post Graduate School in Monterrey California.
