Will Sehestedt

Will is a Director of Government Affairs for the Transportation Intermediaries Association. In this role, serves as a staff liaison for the organization’s Technology Committee and Operations Committee. He also serves as the staff liaison for the International Logistics Conference and the Airfreight Logistics Conference, which bring together TIA members working in international freight to discuss policy issues and develop member resources. Will represents TIA on the Advisory Body for Safety and Security (ABSS) and Multimodal Transport Institute of FIATA, the International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations.

 

Born and raised in Missoula, Montana, Will served for nine years as staff for U.S. Senator Max Baucus of Montana before joining TIA. There, he focused on budget and appropriations, law enforcement, and small business issues. He is a graduate of Georgetown University, and currently lives in Washington, DC.
