Meylor, Dan

Daniel Meylor began his career in 1971 as a messenger for a Customs Broker at the Los Angeles International Airport. He joined Carmichael International Service (an APL Logistics Company) in 1996 and is now the Customs Administration Manager for Carmichael.

Dan is active in the Trade Community. He is a past President of the Los Angeles Customs Brokers and Freight Forwarders Assoc. and still chairs the Seaport CBP Committee for the LACBFFA. Dan is a member of the Board of Directors of the National Customs Brokers and Forwarders Association of America and is also the Vice-Chair of the NCBFAA Customs Committee.  He serves on several other NCBFAA Committees. Dan is also the Chair of the Import Committee of the Pacific Coast Council of Customs Brokers and Freight Forwarders Association, Inc.  Dan has participated in several COAC working groups and he is an active member of several other trade organizations, both local and national.
