Graham, Steven

 

Steven Graham is an International Trade Liaison with U.S. Customs and Border Protection and works in the Office of Trade Relations, which resides within the Office of the Commissioner. He joined U.S. Customs and Border Protection in 2010 after a lengthy career in the private sector.  Mr. Graham has worked closely with the agency’s Federal Advisory Committee on Commercial Operations which is commonly referred to as COAC. 

 

The Office of Trade Relations hosts the agency’s annual Trade Symposium as well as a wide variety of trade engagement events.  These include webinars, roundtables, and conference calls with the international trade community as well as periodic Trade Day events that are held with the Commissioner, his executive staff and various trade associations and trade entities.  

 

Mr. Graham held the title of Vice President of a Miami, Florida based Customs Broker, Freight Forwarder, Vessel Agent and Bonded Cartman from 1976-1988; Vice President of a software developer that supplied products to private companies that interfaced with the U.S. Customs Service from 1988 -2001.  He also worked as an independent contractor with U.S. Customs and Border Protection on the development of the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) from 2002-2010.
