Since 2004, Anne-Marie Bush has been president of Veritrade International, a duty drawback specialist in Bellevue, WA.  In addition to serving on the Board of Directors for the National Customs Brokers and Freight Forwarders Association and their Drawback Committee, Ms. Bush is also active on the drawback committees of the American Association of Exporters and Importers and the Pacific Coast Council of Brokers and Freight Forwarders.  Until recently, Ms. Bush served as the President of the Customs Brokers and International Freight Forwarders Association of Washington State.

Starting out at 6 months old with crossing back and forth to Canada, Ms. Bush began a lifelong connection in getting things “cleared” through Customs.  And even though she cleared her first shipment through Australian Customs in 1977, she did not officially enter the industry until after graduating from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.  Ms. Bush became a licensed customs broker while working for Emery Customs Brokers in Seattle.  It wasn’t until she began working at Veritrade International that she found her true passion – giving money back to her clients.
