Washington, DCThe National Customs Brokers and Forwarders Association of America, Inc. (NCBFAA) and the North Texas Association will hold a NAFTA Seminar Thursday, January 16 in Dallas, Texas. Sponsored by the NCBFAA Educational Institute, the 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. session will convene at the Fairmont Dallas Hotel, 1717 North Akard Street.
        Topics covered will include the history of NAFTA, NAFTA marking requirements, NAFTA record keeping, duty deferral under NAFTA, certificate of origin, and the latest updates on this precedent setting trade provision.         Seminar Instructor John Streker is currently Vice President of US Operations for Affiliated Customs Brokers USA and former Customs/Import Manager for Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Prior to that position, John was with US Customs for 13 years. His last assignment was in St Albans, Vermont, as a Field National Import Specialist, where he spent much of his time trying to keep up with the growing volume of trade and NAFTA. He is a regular on the lecture circuit, training and speaking to the importing public on the legalities of international trade.
