Washington, DCThe National Customs Brokers & Forwarders Association of America, Inc. (NCBFAA) today announced its support for passage of House Resolution 385 introduced by Congressman Ernest Istook (R-OK) on April 10. The resolution honors the men and women of the United States Customs Service, 6 World Trade Center offices, for their hard work, commitment, and compassion during and immediately following the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.
"We absolutely concur with the sentiments expressed in this House Resolution recognizing the dedication of those who work for the U.S. Customs Service, especially those in New York who were directly affected on September 11," said NCBFAA President Federico "Kiko" Zuniga. "Because Customs is such a critical component on the frontline of our national security efforts, we also agree fully with the resolution’s stated support for providing the necessary resources to ensure the full operation of the Customs Service, not only in the New York area but also nationwide."
