Bush, Anne-Marie

Since 2004, Anne-Marie Bush has been president of Veritrade International, a duty drawback specialist in Bellevue, Washington She is active on the drawback committees of the NCBFAA, the PCC and the Customs Brokers and International Freight Forwarders Association of Washington State. Currently, she is serving on the CBP Drawback Working Group and as the PCC Secretary.

Starting at six months old with crossing back and forth to Canada, Bush began a lifelong connection in getting things “cleared” through Customs. And even though she cleared her first shipment through Australian Customs in 1977, she did not officially enter the industry until after graduating from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. Bush became a licensed customs broker while working for Emery Customs Brokers in Seattle. It wasn’t until she began working at Veritrade International that she found her true passion – giving money back to her clients.
