Open to firms regularly engaged in business as licensed customs brokers, licensed ocean freight forwarders, international air cargo agents, and non-vessel operating common carriers located within the limits of the United States, its possessions and territories. Each Regular Member firm has one vote in Association matters. This encompasses the firm's branches, affiliates, subsidiaries or related companies.
Open to firms not licensed as customs brokers, freight forwarders, or OTIs but in business as suppliers or vendors of transportation-related services, international business services or products specific to functions within international trade
Open to firms regularly engaged in business as a customs broker and/or international freight forwarder domiciled outside the limits of the United States, its possessions and territories.
Open to regional, local and state associations of customs brokers, licensed ocean freight forwarders, international air cargo agents and non-vessel operating common carriers located within the limits of the United States, its possessions and territories.

The NCBFAA recognizes what can be achieved through collaboration, and considers reciprocal agreements, and reciprocal conference registrations with other non-profit and government organizations and partners that represent the transportation logistics industry or related disciplines within the international trade arena.
NEI PROFESSIONALThe NEI Professional Membership is open to individual employees of firms not eligible for other categories of NCBFAA membership but interested in expanding their knowledge of the transportation logistics industry through various courses, webinars, and educational offerings.
